Odd Fellows…

Illuminati?

Nah… Odd Fellows!

I tried to talk with my Mum about Gran and the Duncans last night. Let me say that she is not the most receptive to chatting about “secret societies”. When I asked her what she thought the Duncans might be.. she simply said, “I’m sure it is some sort of friend society like the Odd Fellows.” The Odd Fellows? I did some research about the Odd Fellows and couldn’t find anything paranormal related. I couldn’t even find a conspiracy attached to them.

Whatweird shout out! Woot!

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

Thought I should post this here for my “new” friend Jack since he was kind enough to include a whatweird shout out in his video. Thanks, Plotner, for pointing his video out to me. (but I think my favorite was the girl with a love of cheese!) :) Cheers to you, Jack! Hope you can work out whatever is going on with your head.

William Shatner is WEIRD.

I love this video.

Where is Gran?

Monday, November 26th, 2007

It doesn’t get any “weirder” than this photograph of my Gran.  We found it yesterday in storage.  Seems to Dad and I that it was taken a few years ago, judging by Gran’s clothing and appearance.  We can’t figure where Gran is when the photograph was taken.  Seeing that United States flag seems to say Gran was in the states.  But she wasn’t.  She did not travel to the states. (Especially over the last five years - Gran was ill off and on and liked to be near to home.)  Mum guessed a diplomats home or an embassy.  I just find it terribly odd.

This Video scares me.

Maybe it’s the music… the images remind me of Gran’s cowboy photo. Also reminds of the photographs of the “orbs” you posted, RoseCrowley. Now I’m wondering if the image or images in the window are ghosts. Have a look. (Thanks for finding this, Sharon)

Save the WEIRD!

For a laugh… :) (He even mentions Weird Al!) Cheers!

TRANSHUMANITY!

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

To accomplish teleportation and to advance other forms of HPE-technology, it is critical that we have a better understanding of the nature of consciousness. Only then will we be able to truly break through the barriers that stand between us and the next levels of human potential.

Teleportation of conscious beings is but one of the science fiction-to-science fact breakthroughs that we would be closer to achieving when the nature of consciousness is finally understood.

The two quotes above are from a fascinating article on transhumanism.org.

If you have been reading my blog you know that astral projection is a form of teleportation. Since I’m not a scientist with a lab, I’m concentrating on astral projection. Specifically I’m working on an idea that was first brought up here on my blog by RadiantNight. (who I have not heard from in quite some time - WHERE ARE YOU?) I still haven’t had any luck with my astral projection attempts (tried once again last night and fell asleep) :( BUT I feel like I just need to keep working on it. The key to all this is probably my own personal “barriers”. If anyone has had more luck with this or has any information about “how to” I would appreciate your help. And RadiantNight, I have a feeling you might be able to help me. I want to project to wherever my Gran might be. I have some questions for her. (PM me if you aren’t comfortable with the forum) Cheers!

I think Helen Duncan was a fraud.

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

I was up late last night and then in library at school today searching about for anything and everything about Helen Duncan. Mrs. Tasker, our librarian, saw me huffing and puffing to Sharon about hitting a wall about this group called the the Duncans and offered to help me. Mrs. Tasker popped online and in like two minutes found this great site called SurvivalAfterDeath.org

Bottom line.. I think Helen Duncan was an absolute fraud. She certainly wasn’t a witch. I laughed out loud when I saw the paper mache spirit guide “Peggy”. See below. Why would Gran and her friends spend so much time and effort defending someone who was quite obviously NOT a medium of any sort??? Makes me even more curious about the Duncans.   Oh and Happy Thanksgiving to my new weird friends from the United States! :)

The physical medium Helen Duncan is seen materialising ‘Peggy’ in a séance conducted in her own home. The photograph appears to show ‘Peggy’ to be a creature of paper-mâché and cheesecloth.

Helen Duncan was investigated by Harry Price at his National Laboratory of Psychical Research in London. Price and his team concluded that she produced her effects by swallowing and regurgitating materials such as cheesecloth.

Sharon found this on Dailymotion!

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

After listening to me go on and on about my astral projection/ghost theory, my friend Sharon found this and sent it to me. Yes, it could be fake but I’m not certain.
