Hello again. Dr. Cranmore found some interesting articles he thought I should share with all of you. It supports everything I spoke about yesterday. Jack is a lot like me. He is a guy with a wonderful imagination. He’s also a guy who has quite a bit of stress in his life. He’s coping with it as best as he can. Below you will find excerpts from articles about a film that is going to be released soon called Jumpers. I will be curious to see what you think about these findings.

January 17, 2008 (Computerworld) — Fact met fiction last night when a Hollywood actor and director sat down with two MIT physicists to compare the reality of teleportation to the special-effects version in the upcoming movie Jumper.“It’s a little less exotic than what you see in the movie,” said Edward Farhi, director of the Center for Theoretical Physics at MIT. “Teleportation has been done, moving a single proton over two miles. [But] teleporting a person? That is pretty far down the line. The quantum state of a living creature is pretty formidable. That is just not in the foreseeable future.”It is, however, in the foreseeable future in the Hollywood world of lights and special effects. Jumper, which is scheduled to be released on Feb. 14, is a sci-fi thriller about a man, played by Hayden Christensen, who discovers he has the ability to teleport himself anywhere, anytime. There’s no old-fashioned Star Trek-like “Beam me up, Scottie” in this movie. The character simply wills himself to “jump” from one place to another.

Only a few scenes of the film were shown, with most of the evening devoted to a discussion of the science of teleporting. “Don’t forget we’re professional scientists,” said Farhi. “So when we go to a movie we’re not too interested in evaluating the scientific accuracy of it.” Liman, who directedMatt Damon in the first “Bourne” film, said he was struck by the honesty of the “Jumper” script. “The ability to teleport, you’ve seen in a million movies, but here was an 18-year-old kid using it to rob banks that felt just so authentic to me,” said Liman. “Jumper,” which also costars Diane Lane and Samuel L.
My Mum and Dad felt I should come onto my blog and tell you about my revelation. You know how much I enjoy the “weirder” side of life. People who have beliefs, like me, tend to see the odd or strange events in life as an avenue to the “other side” or another dimension. Anything that can’t be quickly explained as normal is filed into the paranormal. Right? Each of you know I’m correct. Never do we see quirky occasions as simply quirky occasions. The world is always filled with meaning. Seeing codes and messages everywhere we look is engaging and fun. Doctor Cranmore has explained the way my mind works to me. Once I am confused or befuddled by some strange event or oddity, I immediately seek to give it a reason for being. Not only do I give it a reason, but I also use my imagination to sort it all out. Teleportation is something I want to believe exists. Leaving one place and landing in another sounds amazing! Each of us has been in somewhere we’d like to teleport away from. Teleportation would rockety rock if it were true. :) Many of us, including our dear friend Jack, want to believe in this far-fetched science. Entering Jack’s world of make believe was just the beginning for me. Out of the blue I went from a paranormal enthusiast to talking to imaginary ghosts in my bathroom. Under the spell of my own imaginative mind, I saw things that really were not there. Talk about a big “weirdo”. Of course, I don’t mean to make any of you feel bad for your own beliefs. Free thinkers are important to our society. Many of you would make wonderful writers or artists or actors. You don’t have to change simply because I’m changing. Right? Odd as it may sound, I can’t imagine thinking the way I did even a few days ago. Only Dr. Cranmore could tell you about the headway I’ve made back to the world of reality. My Mum and Dad are quite proud of me. Hope you will all still consider me a dear friend. Each of you have been so much fun. Let’s just say we will meet again. Please know I will not be able to write to you for a little while. My parents and Dr. Cranmore feel I still might fancy chatting about with all of you and might fall back into my old ways. Estimating how long I will be away from you is impossible for me. Should you like to stay here and chat with each other, please feel free to do so. Everyone knows this isn’t my place. Never was. Do whatever you feel is best. So, I guess I should stop rambling on and on and say goodbye. Hope you aren’t angry with me. Also know Sharon might do her best to make you think something’s wrong or whatever. Rest assured I am fine. Once I realized that everything about Gran and the Duncans was a fiction created by my over active imagination, I felt well again. No one can ever know the relief I felt when Dr. Cranmore explained the psychology of my mind dealing with Gran’s death. Fortunate aren’t I? Reaching toward the truth is very important to mental health. I urge you all to be cautious with your creative minds. Don’t hesitate to get help from a professional, like Dr. Cranmore, if you feel you might be losing touch with reality. A lot of you know what I’m talking about. You alone can judge whether or not your mind has wandered as far as mine into a make believe world. Odd as it sounds, I feel like I had lost control of my life. Not completely nutters. :) Every night was filled with fear as I listened for the return of Gran or a message. Almost one month went by before I got more than three to fours of sleep in a night. My mind was mush. Granted, my parents did warn me. Right? I wouldn’t listen to them. Maybe I should have been more thoughtful about what they were trying to say to me. Sadly I waited until I was actually seeing and hearing things before I received the help I needed. Dad said he understands what I’m going through. I was shocked when he told me he was just like me as a child. That made quite an impression on me. Can’t quite see my Dad as a weirdo too. He’s so straight up now. ;)
